American ice cream typically has 14% or more butterfat. Most Confetti gelato flavors have only 6% fat and our dairy-free sorbet* are fat-free. Because fat has more calories per gram than protein or carbohydrates, Confetti gelato has about 100 fewer calories in a small serving.
Confetti gelato is handcrafted in small batches to add half as much air as the big ice cream manufacturers. The thicker density makes our gelato richer and creamier than most premium ice cream and a better value! Less air means more of the good stuff, 33% more!
We produce our gelato and sorbet* in equipment that also processes nuts and other potential allergens, but we do take the following precautions to prevent cross-contamination. All equipment is rinsed thoroughly after producing any gelato containing eggs or gluten. Nut flavors are produced after the others and peanuts always come last.
* Not vegan. Our non-dairy sorbet flavors contain a very small amount of gelatin (<0.5%).
